Our Women and Children’s Shelter is more than a place to stay. It’s a safe, warm, and loving environment where women and their children can find the support and comfort they need to stabilize and rebuild their lives. We provide a nurturing atmosphere and pathways to a brighter future.
We like to think of the doorway at our Women and Children’s Shelter as the first step toward a changed life.
While at the 106-bed shelter, women are encouraged to join our Enhanced Shelter Program, our Bridge Recovery Program, or our Link Work Readiness Program, hoping that some will join our long-term recovery program.
The Women and Children’s Shelter offers:
meals, shelter, and necessities
case management, mental health services and employment assistance
resources for stable or permanent housing
classes with access to learning and education center
children’s program and playground
Bible studies, devotionals and a chapel
