Tours and Graduations
Experience the Mission and see how lives are changed each day! Take a personal tour of our Women and Children's Shelter and our Men's Shelter to see some of our programs in action. Meet individuals who are experiencing Christ's gift of restoration and meet our staff. We also welcome you to join us in celebration at a Graduation ceremony at one of our facilities. The Mission will come to your churches, schools, Bible studies, or other service groups to share our story. Learn how to become involved in a ministry of hope for those in need in our area. Find out about how God is transforming broken lives into successful, meaningful futures in Him. We will provide speakers for your group or church congregation, who will share exciting testimonies of how God is using Seattle's Union Gospel Mission to change lives in our community. Invite a Mission representative to come speak at your church or group, to share about the Mission's vision, its programs, and how you can become involved. A donation of $20.00 is suggested for a pack of ten tickets. You can mail in your gift with a request for meal tickets to:

The Mission provides residential facilities for men, women, and children to stay while overcoming challenges like substance abuse and homelessness. Each facility provides unique programs and living areas to fit individual needs. Many program facilities have bedrooms that are in desperate need of remodel. We are looking for groups to “adopt-a-room” at our facilities.

Ambassador Resources Ambassadors are provided resources upon request and are sent monthly updates. We will also feature opportunities on line for Ambassadors to view and see if their group would be interested in participating.

represents the best through the hope of Jesus to hurting men, women, and children in our
backyard!"
Meal tickets are a great alternative to handing out cash to those who are asking for money.
Each ticket is good for one meal at the Mission's Men's Shelter located in Pioneer Square.
Those coming to the shelter for a meal will be greeted by friendly staff and a nutritious meal.
(The shelter serves 3 meals a day, 365 days a year.)
This spring we are looking to renovate rooms at 
1. The Mission is looking for a church or small group of individuals to provide childcare at our transitional housing facility in Kent on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm. Son Rise House is the Mission's transitional housing program for women and children who have completed the program at our Women and Children's Shelter. There are currently four children living at Son Rise House. We would like a group that can provide childcare consistently for six months or more. Individuals can serve in groups of two, and members of the group may rotate days or weeks. The children at Son Rise House range in age from preschool to pre-teen. Get involved by serving the women of Son Rise House through offering childcare.
2. Every child enjoys vacation, whether it be days of from school or summer break. Son Rise House and the Women and Children's Shelter are looking for adult volunteers to take the children on field trips during breaks from school. Visit a museum or go swimming at a local pool. There are many ways to get involved and make a difference in the life of a child.
